The memorial erected by Sir Samuel Sleigh to his first wife Judith who died in 1634. It also commemorates Sir Samuel and his two subsequent wives. Remarkably there was 100 years between the death of his first wife and that of his third wife!. It was during work of conserving this monument that a medieval window forgotten for some 350 years was discovered, complete with the original stained glass. This has now been erected elsewhere in the chancel.
