We are privileged to have three Church of England Primary Schools in our benefice. This means that almost all children from the parishes attend a Church School until they move on to Secondary Education at the age of 12. The Rector is a frequent visitor for School Collective Worship and other events as well as being a governor of each school.
After inspection the school received very favourable reports from the School Inspectors from OFSTED and the Diocese of Derby in March 2010 . It has some 100 pupils.
